irregular verbs word search

Description

This worksheet is a word search to accompany the 50 most common irregular verbs worksheet. Users must find the past tenses forms of the 50 verbs. The difficulty level is quite high as all 50 verbs are included and words may run in all directions and diagonally.

Additionally, two versions of the word search are provided; one where the actual words to be found are provided (e.g. went, saw), and another where the user is given the base form of the irregular verb only (e.g. go, see). This second version has the file name ‘Difficult’.

An answer sheet is provided.

Note: The verb ‘show/showed’ is included as it is one of the most common irregular verbs due to its past participle being ‘shown’.
